Saskia Mitreuter, member of the European Union’s Marie Curie Initial Training Network, “Children born of war – past, present and future” from the University of Leipzig spent two months at Tel Aviv University in Israel for research collaboration with prof. dr. Zahava Solomon.

Prof. dr. Zahava Solomon is an internationally leading scholar on the topic of war trauma and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). She manages a distinguished lab consisting of one PhD student and five postdocs. During her stay, Saskia wrote one journal article titled “A Longitudinal Examination of the Posttraumatic Growth Inventory: Do its Subscales Represent the Assumed Monolithic Nature of Posttraumatic Growth?” and contributed to another article on posttraumatic growth in collaboration with prof. dr. Solomon and one of her postdocs. The articles are about to be submitted to international psychology journals.
