Marie Kaiser studied Psychology at the University of Leipzig, Germany. She is a PhD researcher working in the Department of Medical Psychology and Medical Sociology. Her work is focused upon trauma research and psychosocial consequences of growing up as children born of war in post-World-War-II Germany and Austria.

 

Marie has been involved in the CHIBOW project as lecturer on communication skills, theoretical and practical skills for qualitative interviews with vulnerable populations, questionnaire design and stigma theory. Currently she functions as the internal ethics lead within the project and co-supervisor of the Leipzig ITN research team. Furthermore, she is involved in the international network for interdisciplinary research on children born of war (INIRC-CBOW).

CHIBOW has received funding from the European Union's Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under the Marie Sklodowska-Curie grant agreement No 642571
